run slick

our take

run slick exists because felipe niada, a chilean-born chemical engineer training for a full ironman in the georgia summer, couldn't find an anti-chafing product that survived his own miles. everything on the shelf was greasy, messy, transferred onto clothing, or quit the moment sweat and humidity showed up. he'd spent a career in product development and materials, so he built his own.

the result is a silicone-based roll-on that applies clear, dries down in seconds, and forms a thin barrier right where the friction happens. no waxy buildup, no stains, no fragrance. it's a skin-first product: thin layer on clean, dry skin, a few seconds to dry, then gear goes on over the top. used that way it holds through heat, humidity, rain, hydration vests, sports bra lines, and the eighth hour of a long day.

we tested it through a humid midwest summer, soaked shorts and shirts included, with no hot spots. one of felipe's testers ran it as her only option through a 232-mile race and it lasted every day. it took best in show for performance gear at hike expo colorado 2026. it's a young company, still founder-run, and the standard felipe holds it to isn't "does it work at the start line" but "does it still work eight hours in."

we feature run slick because it's built for exactly the miles where most anti-chafing products give up. read the full brand story on the journal, or go straight to runslick.com.
